POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE EFFECTS OF USING TECHNOLOGICAL TOOLS IN EDUCATION
 
This article investigates the usage of technology and technological tools in early childhood curricula, in the classrooms of young learners. The world and educational opportunities have been changing day to day and educators try to accomplish their educational goals by using the appropriate ways. Each student has different learning style and developmental level. Thus, other than using technology in education environments the way how educators use them is very important. Effective usage of these tools and integration of technology in curriculum successfully can enhance the development of children cognitively, social-emotionally, physically and intellectually. These provides many advantages of using technology to teachers and learners. On the other hand, using technology without considering educational goals, the developmental levels of children and expectations of students and educators may cause negative effects of technology. Unsuitable usage of these tools decreases the quality of education and cause some problems that may delay the development of children. It is very crucial for teachers to recognize difference of using tools appropriately or not because it creates a big gap in learning. It is advisable that early childhood teachers should use technological tools effectively, know how to integrate them in the curricula, be aware of necessities of pedagogy, have ability to design learning environment according to developmental levels of learners and combine all of these for bringing up well-educated people.
